What is Breathwork

   Breathwork is a breathing technique that uses breath to move you out of your busy mind into your ever-knowing heart. Breathwork is a practice that connects you to the wisdom that is already inside you. Every session is completely different from individual to individual and session to session. With Breathwork, we are able to tap into the undercurrent of repressed thoughts and emotions and bring them forward to process and release. Just know that if this arises, then you ARE ready to process it. Things will never arise before its time, nor will everything arise all at once. When you do Breathwork it can bring you to a calmer sense of self. Your true essence. 

What to expect during Breathwork

We will start with a short grounding exercise to bring you present. Depending on if we are having a one-on-one session or are in a group, we will have a more personalized session or a particular theme to focus on. This will help you set an intention for your session. You will lay on a Yoga mat on the floor for approximately 40 minutes in active breathing, depending on the session you decided on. Trust me, it will feel like 10 minutes when it's done. There will be music playing to help guide you as well. After the active breathing there will be 10 minutes of relaxed breathing, followed by time to share or journal if you choose. Every session is different for every individual from one to the next.

What is Reiki

 Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
